My hat's off to you. I'm much too much of a klutz to do any hardware hacking. The IIc is definitely an excellent candidate for mass storage, as it's more constrained than the other A2s and the Chinhook was the only external hd (right?); I have one lying around, but I'm more of a Transwarp GS sorta guy. :) Anyways, this is interesting stuff. I hope you've made some progress since March!

Can you blame the credit crunch? I can and do - moved countries and am putting my II's in storage (for now).

Hopefully you can return to the IIc hardware sometime. All our empty memory slots are crying out for that do-it-all card!

Plenty on the emulation front to keep us busy anyway ... and that doesn't take up any extra bench space. ; - )

Cheers,
Nick.

Hi Don, I need to still figure out the problem with the timing issue the //c+ or take a different approach alltogether which has a bit of a learning/testing curve for me. Doesn't help that I also have few spare cycles for this right now. I wish things were otherwise.

Hi, I am just getting back into Apple II stuff after 26 years.

I have a Apple II, an Apple IIE, and an Apple IIC. I think the C is the

most limited for me at the moment as I don't have a serial cable for it.

I just downloaded ADTPro to try to transfer disk images from the pc, but

ethernet for the Apple would be great.

Would you let me know the present status of the project and what

platforms it works on ?

Thank You for your time

Yes.. read my first sector successfully tonight ... used the MMC card I got with my pseudo disk. Compared the buffer to the sector dump of the same media via Ciderpress. :)

Nice to see you're making progress!

Looking forward to mass storage in a //c ... and hopefully one of the 2 VGA dongles in development will make it to production too.

Cheers,
Nick.
