A question about feasability

Postby KPR » Wed Jan 17, 2007 1:36 pm

since we have this base technology and are able to surf the net.. how difficult would it be to write a ichat client for contiki..

What is contiki written in to do add on apps??

Kevin..

Hey Glen, who would be the best person to talk to on this Oliver??

if so do you have an email address handy?

OSCAR on Contiki

Seems that one could implement a bare-bones OSCAR client on Contiki. That would give you AIM and iChat compatibility with none of the graphical or file xfer nonsense. A model implementation is available in Java here: http://sourceforge.net/projects/ooimlib/

I think Contiki and apps are written in C (and some asm imbedded in C) - it uses the cc65 toolchain.
